About the course
This Erasmus+ professional development course is designed to enhance teachers’ eco-literacy and digital skills, enabling them to integrate ecological principles and sustainability into their teaching. Through hands-on activities, digital tools, and collaborative projects, participants will develop innovative approaches to environmental education.

Course Content
This course empowers educators to promote eco-literacy and sustainability in their classrooms using digital tools and interactive methods. By the end, participants will have developed practical lesson plans, digital resources, and school-wide initiatives to foster environmental responsibility among students.
Morning Session (3 hours):
- Welcome & Course Overview
- Icebreaker: “Eco-Footprint Quiz”
- Fundamental ecological concepts: Ecosystems, biodiversity, ecological cycles
- The role of teachers in environmental education
Afternoon Session (3 hours):
- Environmental challenges: Climate change, pollution, resource depletion
- Introduction to digital tools for eco-literacy (Google Earth, Eco-Schools apps, digital storytelling)

- Principles of sustainability and responsible consumption
- Outdoor education: Teaching in natural environments
